Water Tester for Can Integrity brand CMC-KUHNKE TYPE CWT-1000P for 3-piece Can

The can is held in position in a water bath, in parallel position with a clamp, and then submerged into the water. After it is completely covered with water it is subjected to pressure. Double seam and side seam leaks are revealed by air bubbles. When held with the parallel clamp, the open top cans are placed within the magnet plate's grooves. Pressure is applied upon pressing the touch valves. The cans, attached to the rubber plate, are filled with air pressure and simultaneously submerged under water. Cans of different diameters may be tested under fairly high pressure.

The length of time between the sealing of the cans and their submergence can be regulated with a timing valve (option). The speed at which the cans are raised and submerged can be regulated with a choke. A manometer displays the pressure inside the cans. The whole process is automated and pneumatically controlled. Available with nr. 6 stations
